Modalités de candidature 2023

L'ED 465 bénéficie chaque année de près de 20 contrats doctoraux.

Les candidats doivent être soutenus par un membre permanent de l’École doctorale, qui accepte de diriger la thèse du candidat si ce dernier obtient un contrat doctoral.

Attention : un enseignant-chercheur ne peut proposer qu'un seul candidat.

Date limite de dépôt des dossiers

Le dossier de candidature doit être transmis au format électronique à edoeco@univ-paris1.fr

avant le mardi 30 mai 2023 à midi (objet du courriel : « NOM_Prénom.CD.2023 »)

ATTENTION, les dossiers déposés hors délai ne seront pas acceptés.

Ne pas attendre le dernier moment pour postuler !

Contenu du dossier

Le dossier de candidature peut être rédigé en français ou en anglais et doit comprendre dans l’ordre suivant (à respecter impérativement, dans deux fichiers PDF distincts) :

1) Un fichier nommé Nom_Prénom.projet.pdf comprenant :

Un projet de thèse de 5 pages (bibliographie comprise).
Le CV du candidat

2) Un fichier nommé Nom_Prénom.notes.pdf comprenant :

Le relevé de notes de M1 (définitif)

3) Les candidats joindront également à leur envoi le fichier Excel Tableau candidature CD 2023 disponible ci-dessous, dûment rempli, et renommé : « NOM_Prénom.CD.2023 ».

Le futur directeur de thèse envoie directement sa lettre de soutien à edoeco@univ-paris1.fr (document pdf nommé Nom_Prénom.soutien.pdf).

Calendrier prévisionnel de la procédure d'admissibilité - admission

Les candidats doivent envoyer à edoeco@univ-paris1.fr, avant le 20 juin 2023 à 10h* (heure de Paris), un relevé officiel des notes de M2 (cours et mémoire) et leur mémoire en pdf.

* Pour une inscription en thèse de mathématiques appliquées (UFR27), toute demande exceptionnelle de dérogation à la date limite de remise du mémoire (ou de la note) sera soumise à l'appréciation du bureau de l'école doctorale.

Les candidats retenus à l’issue de la présélection seront prévenus par courriel. Ils devront transmettre la version pdf de leur support d'audition (slides) par retour de mail.

Tout candidat admissible ayant obtenu une note strictement inférieure à 15/20 au mémoire sera éliminé de la liste.

Pour les candidats dont le dernier diplôme obtenu n'est pas dans le périmètre de l’ED465 en 2022-2023, la commission se chargera d'examiner le mémoire avant admission.

22 juin 2023 : Résultats de la pré-sélection et convocations aux auditions par courriel

29-30 juin 2023 : Audition des candidats retenus.

7 juillet 2023 : Publication de la liste des admissibles.

Application terms and conditions

The doctoral school ED 465 grants nearly 20 doctoral contracts each year.

Candidates must be supported by a permanent member of the doctoral school, who agrees to direct the candidate's thesis if he or she obtains a doctoral contract.

Please note: a professor/researcher can only propose one candidate.

Application deadline

The application file must be submitted in electronic format by email to edoeco@univ-paris1.fr before Tuesday, May 30th, 2023, at noon (Paris time) (the subject of your email must be “LAST NAME_First name.CD.2023").

The deadline must be strictly respected; no file will be accepted after the deadline.

File content

The file can be written in French or in English and must contain (exactly in this order in two separate pdf files):

1) One file entitled LAST NAME_First name.project.pdf including:

Thesis project (5 pages including bibliography)
Curriculum Vitae

2) One file entitled LAST NAME_First name.transcripts.pdf including:

M1 final transcript

3) You must also attach the following Excel file “Tableau candidature CD 2023” to your email, completed and entitled “LAST NAME_First name.CD.2023”.

Your future PhD supervisor (who must be part of the ED 465) should send his or her recommendation letter directly to edoeco@univ-paris1.fr (as a pdf file entitled LAST NAME_First name.support.pdf).

Attention: The final M2 transcript (including the final grades and the master's thesis mark) and the master's thesis (pdf) must be submitted to edoeco@univ-paris1.fr before Tuesday, June 20th, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. (Paris time)*.

*For a registration in applied mathematics (UFR27), any exceptional request for a derogation from the deadline for the submission of the thesis (or the grade) will be submitted to the doctoral school board.

Candidates who pass the pre-selection will be notified by email. In response, they will have to send the pdf version of the slides needed for the interview.

Any eligible candidate with a mark strictly below 15/20 for the master's thesis will be eliminated from the list.

For candidates whose last degree is not within the scope of ED465 in 2022-2023, the committee will examine the thesis before admission.
